What Seeing Clearly is

Seeing Clearly™ is a private personal-reflection tool. It is a place to record your own observations about your relationships and notice patterns over time.

It is not therapy, counselling, medical or mental health advice, and it is not a crisis service. It is not a tool for building a case against another person, and nothing in it is legal evidence.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911. Free confidential help is available 24/7 from the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) and the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233).

Your content stays yours

What you write in the app is stored on your own device. We do not upload it, read it, or sell it. Because it lives on your device, you are responsible for keeping a backup — Settings offers one — and for deleting it if you no longer want it.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, the email address and any phone number you give us are sent to our newsletter provider so we can write to you. That is separate from anything you write inside the app.

Writing about other people

You may record observations about people in your life. Please keep those observations for your own reflection. Do not use Seeing Clearly to harass, threaten, defame or build a dossier on anyone.

Subscriptions

Core safety features — Quick Check-In, journalling, crisis resources, the PIN lock and logging for one person — are free and stay free.

Clarity is an optional paid subscription. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Purchases made through the App Store are billed to your Apple account and managed in your Apple account settings; we cannot cancel or refund them on your behalf.

Age

You must be at least 18 to use Seeing Clearly.

No warranty

Seeing Clearly is provided as is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for decisions you make about your relationships. Those decisions are yours.
